Tian Yao

YT joined JAWS at the beginning of 2022 after graduating from UTAS with his Master of Architecture in 2021. He has always been intrigued by how architecture shapes and grows with human culture. YT believes that the spirit of transgression is what drives the evolution of architecture and he hopes that his unique perspective can one day add to this grand evolution. For now, he wishes to absorb as much knowledge as possible regarding the profession.

In his free time, YT enjoys taking photos on hikes and playing racquet sports such as badminton and tennis. He is also an avid fan of curling up at home with a nice movie or a good book.
