B.APPSC (IA) (HONS)

Madeline graduated from Curtin University in 2020 with Honours in Interior Architecture, receiving the Design and Built Environments Head of School most outstanding student award. During her studies, she explored how Interior Architecture can contribute to more positive experiences amidst climate change.

With over 5 years’ experience of working in Tasmanian firms, she has gained experience in a range of residential and commercial projects. She brings to JAWS a passion for the built environment and creating interiors that can meaningfully influence peoples’ lives and bring positive experiences for those who occupy them.

Her love of nature and the outdoors has built a strong appreciation in designing interiors that are sensitive to the environment and create a sense of place and connection to the surrounding landscape. Her travels abroad have also inspired her love for interiors, colour, materiality, and design.

Outside of interiors, Madeline enjoys hand building ceramics, wandering art galleries, bushwalking, catching waves on her longboard, and eating good food and wine with her partner, friends, and family.
