JAWS Architects are proud to announce their Three Capes Track Project is featured on an episode of Australia by Design. Tune in to WIN tomorrow at 3pm (August 19th 2017).
The series contains nine episodes that count down the top ten architectural projects in each state and territory. Alongside renowned Australian Architect Tim Horton as the series host, will be a judging panel of Government architects from all across Australia.
Bree joined JAWS Architects in 2017 after returning to Hobart from living interstate where she completed an Honors degree in Interior Design. She brings impressive and extensive qualifications in Project Management and Environmental Design to JAWS .
She has also worked previously in a marketing role in an architectural practise and amongst other marketing functions has experience co-ordinating and implementing web and social media campaigns.

The Jaws Architects Minallo Residence has received a commendation in the 2017 Tasmanian Architecture Awards Residential Architecture – Houses (Alterations & Additions) category.
Minallo was built in 1891 – a grand residence once commanding a proud position on a hill overlooking the city of Hobart. Jaws Architects was commissioned to progressively renovate and enhance the home, the brief developed from a desire to connect each living area of the house better with its large garden.
The work involved a new open-plan kitchen and dining room with the installation of pivot doors and windows. A pantry store and laundry were discretely positioned behind a glazed link that connects to a new double-height garden conservatory.
This indoor-outdoor room nestles into the garden, opening fully to a large deck. The view from this room creates a compelling vista upwards, towards the sky and to large trees beyond. The living room has altered from a thoroughfare into a restful room, with a new bay window creating a direct visual connection across the deck to the beautiful garden.... read more
