January 17, 2024
JAWSARCHITECTS (Principal Architect & Superintendent ) alongside NTC Architects (Health Planner) and Pop Architecture (Interior Architect) have recently delivered the new Royal Hobart Hospital Liverpool Clinics fitout for the Department of Health. Designed in consultation with a significant stakeholder group including the users of a multitude of medical services – the team was able to realise a design that was unique to Hobart and this site, whilst meeting all of the complex functional requirements of this project type. Texture, warmth, tactility, variety, and scale are a some of the methods utilised to achieve this at the Liverpool Clinics. Standard materials and fittings have been pushed to their limits and applied in new and playful ways to meet functional requirements in a unique and thoughtful manner.
