David Button



David has been with Jaws Architects for more than 30 years, over which time he has earned a reputation among his peers for his keen understanding of the practical aspects of building.
His particular experience in energy efficient design and sustainable building technology have contributed to the success of many projects undertaken by the firm.

Also noted for his expertise in building conservation, David has been a Tasmanian Heritage Councillor, the Hobart City Council’s Battery Point Advisory Committee and the Tasmanian Heritage Council’s Works and Assessment Committee.  

In his spare time David’s other interests include motor sport: he is a senior steward with the Confederation of Australian Motorsport and he enjoys camping around Tasmania’s bush and beaches.
